Boner Road Truss Bridge

The Boner Road Truss Bridge

The Boner Road Truss Bridge was a project that was very unique to CLR Inc.  The bridge was in very bad shape, and it is a fairly long bridge, so that alone presented some problems just to access it.  A lot of the work had to be done by hand, such as moving beams into position.

This bridge is listed as the oldest iron bridge in Indiana that remains in its original location, it was originally built by the King Bridge Comapany (http://www.kingbridgeco.com/2007_update.htm). Historic Newburgh Indiana has links in their site to the bridge as well, http://www.historicnewburgh.org/boner_bridge.htm. History says that Abraham Lincoln used to walk across this bridge daily as a young boy with his father to get to the mill.
